Over the weekend, a large amount of time has been dedicated to upgrading the site. There are a few changes visible on the front end as far as design is concerned. You will notice that the color scheme is just a tad bit different, and the header has changed a bit, but the main areas of the site operate the same.
The changes from this weekend that I am most excited about are the new profile fields. There are now areas in your profile to add your specific softball preferences. Click on "Edit Profile" within your profile to add your own information to your profile.
Therea are now options to add your throwing and hitting side, fielding positions, how you are involved in softball, your playing level, and whether you play recreationally or competitively.
A statisitcs tab has also been added in preparation for the statistics system we are developing. This will allow you to add individual/team and game stats to either your profile or your team group.
More to come soon!

A new widget has been added to everyone's profile. It is a Google Maps widget which will automatically map any user's location who has a presence on your profile page. For example, if 3 separate users have written on your wall, their location will appear within the Google Maps widget. Of course their location within the widget is based on the location that they have entered in their own profile.
We thought this would be a useful feature to see where your friends are located. Maybe you will be able to find a tournament or arrange for some good ol' BP based on seeing that another user is close to your location. More to come!

We've been continuing on the development of SoftballCore. Most recently, functionality was added to be able to easily view friends of friends. This may help you find others who you know. Then you can friend them too!
A Facebook Fan Page was added to the http:/

I recently launched this softball social network. I’m an avid player and fan of softball, and I also have a background in web development and online marketing. I probably spend more time on the diamond during the warm months than anywhere else, and I wanted to offer a site to other “softballers” too.
I'm glad you decided to participate in http:/
Development of the site functionality and design will continue, but the site is at a point where it can offer members a useful service. Membership is free, and new users are signing up every day.
Feedback about any aspect of the site is always welcome. Thank you for your time and for taking a look at http:/
